Police are issuing fake warnings of meth tainted with
coronavirus. Public health experts say please stop now.
[Some police departments] are joking about coronavirus
— warning that the potentially deadly disease may have tainted the local meth
supply at a time when nearly 3,000 people worldwide have died and the country
is preparing for an outbreak. […] Departments in St. Francis County, Ark., Johnson City, Tex., Tavares, Fla., and Decatur County, Kan., have all blasted out the warning, in some cases
grabbing straight-faced headlines from local TV news outlets that ran the story
like a police news release without a hint of skepticism. “Texas police say

Eunuchs ask for water, flee with gold and cash
She doesn’t remember how the thieving eunuchs managed
to flee with a gold chain from around her neck. This has promoted rumours of the
victim being hypnotised. The incident occurred in Vastrapur in broad daylight,
when a couple of eunuchs were going house-to-house to collect money for the
upcoming Holi festival. […] Kundanben offered them water and kept the glassed
back once they were done. And that is all she remembers. Later on, it was when
her son enquired about the missing gold chain from her neck that Kundanben
realised she had been robbed. […]
