A high court judge has dismissed claims that children in north London have been abused by paedophiles in a satanic cult.

Chinese Yogurt Drink Can Be Made into Condoms

Zong Qinghou, chairman of the Hangzhou Wahaha Group, China's largest beverage company, said recently that he is fed up with internet rumors.

During this year's National People's Congress, Zong complained that his company suffered a 5 billion yuan (US$797 million) decline in sales last year due to an internet rumor about Nutri-Express, a popular milk-based drink marketed by the company, China's National Business Daily reported.

According to the rumor, if the drink is allowed to sit overnight at room temperature, it will dry out and congeal, forming a rubber-like layer that can be used to make condoms.

Zong explained that the layer is formed by congelation of protein in the milk. He proposed during the meeting that the Chinese government toughen the penalties for rumormongering and establish an authoritative platform to provide accurate information to the public, the daily said. […]
