The ‘Devil Man’: Reviving a
forgotten New Orleans urban legend
[…] As New Orleans urban legends go, the Devil Man
hasn't gotten much play for decades. He's sort of the B-side to such frequent
hits as the local legends of Mona Lisa Drive, Grunch Road or Hangman's Tree. In
fact, many New Orleanians today might not even be aware of the tale of the
Devil Man. That certainly wasn't the case in fall 1938, when word began
circulating around town of a mysterious nighttime figure who looked like a man
but who, depending on the version of the story, had either a horn or two horns
on his forehead. He also had the ability to appear out of thin air -- and
disappear just as quickly. […]

Mother says son found sharp nail hidden inside Twirl
chocolate bar bought at Coles
Cadbury is
investigating a report of nails in two of its chocolate bars after a NSW mother
posted a picture to social media showing the nasty surprise buried inside the
sweet treat. Aimee Sutton attached the picture to Facebook on Tuesday night
showing the bent metal nail apparently discovered inside the Twirl chocolate
bar purchased by her son. […]

Two people arrested for
spycam videos of 1,600 people
Seoul police said Wednesday they have booked four
people for livestreaming and selling secretly filmed videos of some 1,600 motel
guests in the past year. Two have been arrested for distribution of illicitly
filmed videos of motel guests via wireless internet protocol cameras set up at
42 motel rooms at 30 motels in 10 cities in the North and South Gyeongsang and
Chungcheong Provinces between Nov. 24 last year and March 2 this year. […]
