A police officer on Sunday, May 24 got Kenyans talking after appealing to the public in Nakuru to stop using derogatory remarks such as 'D Minus (D-) Material' to describe officers. China has shut down a popular social media account for spreading fake news and conspiracy theories[.] […] “The US has been processing dead bodies from Covid-19 diseases into hamburgers,” was one of the last postings on Zhidao Xuegong – literally the Scholar Forum for Ultimate Truth – which had millions of followers on China’s Facebook-like social media platform WeChat before it was shut down on Sunday. After being seized as war reparations in 1945, the Grille, a Nazi state yacht, was temporarily docked at the Rosyth Naval Dockyard in Fife. Cyril Caseby worked there and sneaked aboard the yacht to take a souvenir. “As far as I remember security was very strict. When leaving everybody had to walk between a row of security people stretched across the exit and when you got a tap on your shoulder you had to go into a nearby building to be frisked. The penalty for theft was severe. […] There was a story that I do not know if it was true or not although many said it was true. Every night a labourer came to the exit hurling his barrow with only his flask and piece box in it, sometimes covered with his duffle coat. This was properly checked each time before he went on his way. Later it was discovered that he was stealing wheelbarrows.”
