to 'entice children' are not true, say police. A warning to parents was
circulated on social media today, after claims a man was reportedly spotted
crouching in bushes in Formby Pinewoods. The man was reportedly dressed as

A man choked unconscious by an off-duty Los Angeles
firefighter convicted of assault but never jailed will receive a $7.4-million
settlement in connection with the attack, his attorney said. A group of men
held down Samuel Chang in 2015 as he was handing out Halloween candy near his
grandmother’s home in Chatsworth. […] Video from Chang’s iPhone showed the men,

(PHOENIX) — Cindy McCain [the widow of former U.S.
Sen. John McCain] is apologizing after inaccurately claiming that she stopped
human trafficking at the Phoenix airport when she reported a toddler with a
woman of a different ethnicity and “something didn’t click.” […] Phoenix Police
Sgt. Armando Carbajal confirmed McCain requested a welfare check on a child at
the airport on Jan. 30, but said “officers determined there was no evidence of
