China shuts down WeChat social media account claiming ‘US making dead bodies into hamburgers’

 

China has shut down a popular social media account for spreading fake news and conspiracy theories[.] […] “The US has been processing dead bodies from Covid-19 diseases into hamburgers,” was one of the last postings on Zhidao Xuegong – literally the Scholar Forum for Ultimate Truth – which had millions of followers on China’s Facebook-like social media platform WeChat before it was shut down on Sunday. To most customers, she’s the sharp-tongued pie cook who serves them tea and cakes at her quirky Devonshire tea house in the Northern Territory outback.

But now Fran Hodgetts is having to tear down a poster linking her pies to those of Sweeney Todd, the fictional, bloodthirsty “demon barber of Fleet Street” whose victims ended up in meat pies.

A placard plastered over another tourist sign for the old Gorrie Airfield near the NT town of Larrimah, 500km south of Darwin, last week advertised “Frans Sweeny Todd pies (sic)”.

The scrappy fake advertisement was apparently in reference to the disappearance of Larrimah resident Paddy Moriarty and a rumour around town that he had ended up in Ms Hodgetts’ famous buffalo, crocodile and camel pies. […]

The woman, a member of the Yazidi community who are scorned by ISIS, was starved for days leading up to the depraved torture.

After keeping her in a dark cellar without food or water the woman was finally given a meal of meat and rice by her barbarous captors.

ISIS jihadis waited until she had finished her meal before informing her she had just eaten her one-year-old son.

The atrocious ordeal was revealed by an Iraqi MP speaking on Egyptian television.

SICK Islamic State jihadis fed a desperate mother a meal of meat and rice, then told her: “You’ve just eaten your son.”

A British dad who went to Iraq to fight IS, last night revealed the horrific story of the distraught woman who went to the fanatics’ HQ after her son was taken prisoner.

Yasir Abdulla, 36, was so sickened by the jihadis’ cruelty that he left his wife and kids at home in Yorkshire to spend six months fighting on the front line in his Kurdish homeland — and is vowing to return to “finish the job”.

The dad of four said: “I hate IS because of what happened to an old Kurdish woman from a nearby tribe.

"Her son was captured by IS fighters and taken as a prisoner to Mosul.

“She was determined to find her son and went to IS headquarters and asked to see him.

“The IS men told her to sit down because she had travelled a long way and said she should have some food before they took her to meet her son.

“They brought her cups of tea and fed her a meal of cooked meat, rice and soup. She thought they were kind.

“But they had killed him and chopped him up and after she finished the meal and asked to see her son they laughed and said, ‘You’ve just eaten him’.” […]
